You asked if you can receive e-mail notices when someone has replied to your post. I suppose the answer is "yes" provided their response was favorable. If they asked you to usubscribe from your mailing list and you continued to send them email - even if it was to tell them you complied with their reqest - could prove troubling. I have actually had that happen to me. Someone sends me a nasty note requesting they did not want to receive email from me. I respond by letting that person know I honored his requst. What happens? I get a second nasty note saying I am a spammer and will be reported to my ISP.

So, when it comes to permission marketing, I think you do need to be careful. Anyone else want to comment here? I am definitely not the expert on this matter.
